TROUBLESHOOTING

  • If a cigar dries out it will start to lose its flavour. You can attempt to re-humidify dry cigars but this must be done very slowly as the wrappers may burst as they absorb moisture

  • The appearance of bloom is a sign that your cigars are undergoing the usual ageing process. It looks like a tiny spider web or a thin layer of white powder - simply wipe the dust away and you are ready to smoke these cigars

  • If the temperature in your humidor goes above 24 degrees you are at risk of an infestation of tobacco weevil causing small holes in the wrappers meaning the affected cigars are unsmokable. The only solution is to freeze the unaffected cigars for 48 hours then return to a fully cleaned humidor
